On Youth Day, 3/27/04, BJ took Collin
on his first ever turkey hunt. Collin, 11 yrs. old, could not believe his eyes when both of these jakes flew and landed right at the decoys. After hunting several spots that morning and almost taking a long beard only to watch him strut away, this surely made his day. You can bet Collin will be back in the turkey woods on next years Youth Day. One jake weighed 15 1/2 lb. with a 5 1/2 in. beard while the other weighed 14 lb. with a 4 in. beard. Congratulations Collin on your hunt and thank you BJ for taking the time to introduce Collin to hunting in the wild outdoors.
